THEATER: “A Christmas Carol” @ Olde English Pub, Albany. The Collar City Players bring a staged reading of Charles Dickens’ classic Christmas story to the pubs of Greater Nippertown. 12noon. $10.

MUSIC: Celebration of Lessons & Carols @ the Kinderhook Reformed Church, Kinderhook. Nine readers from throughout the larger community will be joined by a choir of nearly 40 experienced singers under the musical direction of David Smith. Assisting will be Justan Foster, organist of the Old Dutch Church in Kingston. 4pm.
