It’s hard to believe, but apparently, 100,000,000 Bon Jovi Fans Can’t Be Wrong

The 2018 list of Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductees was announced this morning, and New Jersey rockers Bon Jovi led the charge. First time nominees Dire Straits and the Moody Blues also made the cut, along with new wave standard-bearers The Cars and the late jazz-soul singer Nina Simone. Pioneering gospel singer Sister Rosetta Tharpe will also be inducted as an early influence.

The 33rd annual Rock & Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony is slated to take place on Saturday, April 14 at the Public Auditorium in Cleveland.

Who didn’t make the cut? Nominees who will have to wait til next year for another try include The Meters, Kate Bush, Rage Against the Machine, Eurythmics, Radiohead, Depeche Mode, Judas Priest, the J. Geils Band, the Zombies MC5, Link Wray, Rufus featuring Chaka Khan and LL Cool J.
