The Upstate Concert Hall in Clifton Park has piled on quite a batch of new concerts, including DJ-producer Steve Aoki with Desiigner at 8pm on Wednesday, February 14 (on sale now; $43 in advance; $48 at the door); Motionless in White joined by Every Time I Die, Chelsea Grin and Ice Nine Kills at 7pm on Tuesday, March 7 on sale at 10am Friday; $20 in advance; $23 at the door); hip-hopster Ty Dolla $ign’s Don’t Judge Me Tour at 8pm on Sunday, March 18 (on sale now; $25 in advance; $28 at the door); Kayzo with 4B, Dubloadz, Gammer and JSTJR at 8pm on Wednesday, March 28 (on sale now; $20 in advance; $25 at the door); and A$AP Ferg’s Mad Man Tour featuring Denzel Curry and IDK (on sale now; $30 in advance; $33 at the door).

IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: Tanglewood in Lenox has bolstered its summer 2018 season with the addition of Stephen Stills & Judy Collins, Bela Fleck & the Flecktones and Steve Martin & Martin Short’s “An Evening You Will Forget for the Rest of Your Life.” Tickets go on sale to the general public at 10am on Monday (December 18).

Singer-songwriter Mary Gauthier steps into the spotlight at WAMC-FM’s The Linda at 8pm on Wednesday April 25, in support of her new album Rifles & Rosary Beads, co-written with wounded combat veterans via the SongwritingWith:Soldiers program. Tickets are on sale now, priced at $20.

IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: The Times Union Center in Albany has announced a big grand re-opening concert featuring James Taylor, John Legend, Jim Belushi and Moriah Formica. Tickets go on sale at 10am on Saturday (December 16).

IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: The Troy Savings Bank Music Hall presents “An Acoustic Evening with Lyle Lovett and Shawn Colvin,” featuring the two award-winning singer-songwriters onstage together sharing songs and stories. Tickets go on sale to the general public at 10am on Friday (December 15).

The Upper Room in Albany has announced a pair of new concerts. Acclaimed blues-rock guitarslinger Gary Hoey will be firin’ it up at 8pm on Thursday, May 3 ($15 & $25), while Gulf Coast barrelhouse piano-pounder Marcia Ball rumbles in at 8pm on Friday, June 1 ($30 & $40). Tickets for both shows are available now.

IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: A batch of new concerts have been announced for Albany’s Palace Theatre including rockers Daughtry, Pink Floyd tribute band Brit Floyd, comedian Gabriel Iglesias and a two-night stand by jam band vets moe.

IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: Ulster Performing Arts Center in Kingston has announced a pair new shows – comedian Eddie Izzard and ex-Talking Head David Byrne. Tickets go on sale at 11am on Friday (December 15).

The Season 11 winner of NBC-TV’s “The Voice,” Jason “Sundance” Head makes his Greater Nippertown debut at Vapor in Saratoga Springs at 8pm on Thursday, January 25. Tickets are on sale now, priced at $12.

SOLD OUT: Valerie June’s solo concert at Levon Helm Studios in Woodstock on Friday evening (December 15) is now officially sold, as is Elizabeth Mitchell’s annual holiday benefit concert “The Sounding Joy” at the studio on Friday, December 22.

Grass Is Dead rolls into the Hollow Bar + Kitchen in Albany at 9pm on Thursday, February 1. Dustin Sawyer opens the show. Tickets are on sale now, priced at $10 in advance; $12 at the door.

IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: The Egg has added three new concerts to its 2018 slate of shows – R&B veterans War, a jazzy tribute to Leonard Bernstein by Jane Monheit & Frank Vignola and the return of acoustic guitar virtuoso Leo Kottke. Tickets are now on sale.

The Wood Theater is Glens Falls is hosting a kids’ New Year’s Eve celebration with the Zucchini Brothers at 3pm on Sunday, December 31. Tickets are on sale now priced at $10.

CANCELLED: Originally scheduled for Wednesday, December 20, sublime soul singer Bettye LaVette’s concert at the Cohoes Music Hall has been cancelled. Refunds are available at the place of purchase.

IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: MASS MoCA in North Adams has announced its 2018 winter/spring season of performances, including concerts by Bon Iver, Sinkane, Quindar, Rafiq Bhatia, CJ Field, Zemog El Gallo Bueno and more. Tickets are on sale now.

New concerts on tap at Levon Helm Studios in Woodstock include a New Year’s Eve concert with Amy Helm and special guests at 9pm on Sunday, December 31 ($50 & $80); Dar Williams at 8pm on Saturday, January 13 ($30 & $45); Carolyn Wonderland at 8pm on Friday, January 19 ($25 & $35); and David Bromberg at 8pm on Saturday, March 3 ($45 & $55).

CANCELLED: The concert by the Ashdown Project – originally slated for Caffe Lena on Sunday (December 17) – has been cancelled.

IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: Keyboardist-composer Yanni is celebrating the 25th anniversary of his Live at the Acropolis album with a tour that is slated to make a spring stop at Proctors in Schenectady.

OPENERS: Drew Baldridge has been tapped as the opening act for Scotty McCreery at Clifton Park’s Upstate Concert Hall on Thursday (December 14)… Also at UCH, one more band, Between Now and Forever, has been added to the list of support acts for Fozzy on Wednesday, April 4… Asheville-via-Bhutan improvisational electric guitarist Tashi Dorji has been added to the bill at MASS MoCA in North Adams, opening for Godspeed You! Black Emperor on Saturday, March 10.
