THEATER: “She Loves Me” @ Capital Repertory Theatre, Albany. It’s opening night! The romantic musical is a Broadway classic with six Tony nominations garnered by its recent NYC revival. Directed by Maggie Mancinelli-Cahill, the show features a book by Joe Masteroff, lyrics by Sheldon Harnick and music by Jerry Bock. 7:30pm. Through Sunday, December 24.

TALK: “Above and Below the Radar: Artists Working Today” @ UAlbany’s University Art Museum, Albany. A lecture by eminent art critic and poet John Yau, who is one of today’s most consistently engaged voices on contemporary art. 4:30pm. FREE.

THEATER: “Big Love” @ Skidmore College’s Janet Kinghorn Bernhard Theater, Saratoga Springs. Two-time Obie Award-winning playwright Charles L. Mee’s play fuses the ancient and the modern by bringing the plot of Aeschylus’ “The Suppliants” into the modern era. Directed by Carolyn Anderson. 8pm. $12; students & seniors $8. Through Sunday.
