Cohoes Music Hall Announces New Concert

Greater Nippertown’s premiere jam-band pioneers of the ’90s, Ominous Seapods are getting back together for a reunion concert at the Cohoes Music Hall at 8pm on Saturday, January 13.

Based in Albany, the band – featuring Max Verna (guitar, vocals), Dana Monteith (guitar, vocals), Tom Pirozzi (bass guitar, vocals), Brian Mangini (keyboards) and Ted Marotta (drums) – released four albums between 1994-2000 and toured coast-to-coast.

Since calling it quits in 2001, the band has played only a handful of reunion shows, most recently in December, 2011.

Priced at $22 in advance; $27 at the door, tickets for the Seapods’ reunion concert will go on sale to the general public at 12noon today (Friday, October 6).
