MUSIC: Scott Sharrard & the Brickyard Band @ Colony, Woodstock. The first time configuration of this three generational collective coming together around their love for the blues. Scott Sharrard, former musical director for Gregg Allman, will join Grammy-nominated bluesman Bill Sims, Jr. and his grandson Jackson Speller along with Scott’s multi-talented bandmate Moses Patrou to usher us through their Delta influences. MUSIC: Laetitia Sadier Source Ensemble @ BSP Kingston, Kingston. The singer-songwriter (and founding member of Stereolab) returns to BSP in support of her new album, Find Me Finding You. With Nicholas Krgovich (formerly No Kids). 8pm. $15.

MUSIC: Popa Chubby @ Iron Horse Music Hall, Northampton. In 2015, Ted Horowitz marked 25 years of rocking the blues as Popa Chubby, and his tempestuous, soulful playing has never been more powerful. “It’s been 25 years, and I’m still standing,” he declares, and considering the long and rugged road he’s had to travel, that in and of itself is a miracle. 7pm. $18.

DANCE: Christopher K. Morgan’s Pōhaku @ PS21, Chatham. The evening-length solo dance performance incorporates choreographer Morgan’s personal story into the larger story of Hawaii’s native people. 8pm. $35; $18 students.
