OPERA: “Xerxes” @ Glimmerglass Opera, Cooperstown. Countertenor John Holiday returns in the title role of one of the most brilliant scores in the Baroque repertory. MUSIC: The Ted Rosenthal Quintet @ the Lee Meeting House, Lee. Berkshires Jazz, Inc. presents a centennial tribute to the legendary pianist-composer Thelonious Monk.
