Hot Tuna is returning to Greater Nippertown

Led by guitarslinger Jorma Kaukonen and bassist Jack Casady, the veteran blues band Hot Tuna (in acoustic mode) is slated to take the stage at the Cohoes Music Hall at 8pm on Sunday, December 3. Priced at $52, $58 & $67, tickets go on sale at 10am on Friday (August 4).

And Greater Nippertown native Norman Rea returns to his hometown to present “A Phoenix Rising” at the Cohoes Music Hall at 6:30pm on Saturday, November 4. The benefit concert in celebration of the new Albany Damien Center, which is slated to open in November to provide services for local people living with HIV/AIDS, will feature music director Maria Riccio Bryce, as well as Benita Zahn, Nancy Timpanaro-Hogan, Ward Dales, Bill Harrison, the Albany Gay Mens Chorus, Carrie Weiss, Mary Pohl and many others.
