The Egg Announces New Concert

If you’re a fan of Finnish symphonic metal bands and uillean pipes, then you’ll probably want to be at The Egg when Nightwish steps into the spotlight at 8pm on Sunday, March 18.

Founded more than two decades ago by lead songwriter and keyboardist Tuomas Holopainen, the band – which also features guitarist Emppu Vuorinen, drummer Jukka Nevalainen, bassist-vocalist Marco Hietala, uillean piper Troy Donockley and vocalist Floor Jansen – is the most successful Finnish band worldwide, selling more than 8 million records and earning more than 60 gold and platinum awards, having released five No. 1 albums and 13 No. 1 singles.

Ticket prices are still TBA $51, $58.50, $66, $78.50 & $116, and tickets go on sale at 11am on Tuesday (June 20)., but tickets are slated to go on sale to the general public on Tuesday, June 20. Every ticket will include a special Decades 2018 Tour CD, which will be distributed at the concert. A limited number of VIP Meet and Greet tickets will be available at every tour stop as well through the band fanclub’s website.
