MUSIC: Bill Carter @ The Falcon, Marlboro. He’s best known for co-writing Stevie Ray Vaughan’s biggest hit, “Crossfire,” bu as The Austin Chronicle has noted, “Bill Carter has an audacious knack for a roadhouse hook and a wicked tongue for lyrics, making music that is at once powerful, sly, intelligent and rocking. Carter is one of the most successful, if not the best singer-songwriter in Austin.” 7pm. Donations encouraged.
