JUNE 15
AVERAGE WHITE BAND: Still led by founding member Alan Gorrie, the veteran band – which also features Nippertonian Cliff Lyons on sax – is best known for their timeless instrumental hits “Pick Up the Pieces” and “Cut the Cake,” the soul band’s strength actually lay in their consistently accomplished song-writing, stretching across several gold albums.
With VICTORY SOUL ORCHESTRA: Victory Soul Orchestra is a seven-piece, horn-fueled, Afro-jazz/funk/soul band from Albany.

JULY 13
THE FUNKY METERS: The all-star Crescent City combo – featuring keyboardist Art Neville, bassmaster George Porter Jr., drummer Terrence Houston and guitarist Brian Stolz – have been pumping out that funky deep-dish groove for nearly 40 years… and they’re still going strong.
With WURLIDAY: Hailing from Albany, the brand new outfit led by guitarist Justin Henricks serves up a lively injection of soul-funk goodness, in support of the debut EP, Bedtime Blazer, slated for release on Thursday (June 1).
UPDATE: This concert has been moved to the dreaded rainsite at the Corning Preserve Boat Launch parking lot under I-787…
