MUSIC: Geoff Muldaur @ Caffe Lena, Saratoga Springs. An alum of Jim Kweskin’s Jug Band and Paul Butterfield’s Better Days, Muldaur is veteran of the booming Boston folk scene of the ’60s, and he’s sounds better than ever. 8pm. $26.

MUSIC: Red Tail Ring @ the Cock ‘n Bull Restaurant, Galway. In support of their fourth full-length studio release, Fall Away Blues, the Kalamazoo duo of Laurel Premo and Michael Beauchamp fuse new songwriting with old-time country blues. 8:30pm. $10.
