2. THE FIRST CONCERT THAT I EVER SAW WAS … The first concert I’ll never forget, it was the Mighty Mighty Bosstones on the Warped Tour in Northampton, Massachusetts. Skateboarding in so much punk rock!

3. THE FIRST MUSICAL INSTRUMENT I EVER OWNED OR PLAYED WAS … I actually had a coronet as my first instrument, a hand-me-down from my great uncle. I think that bad boy was played in the military band during World War II. Pretty cool stuff.

4. THE FIRST SONG THAT I EVER PERFORMED IN PUBLIC WAS … My first song I ever performed was “Minnie the Moocher” by Cab Calloway with my high school jazz band. The band instructor threw me up there, and I did a ton of improvising because I couldn’t remember the words. Improvised Asian has been my thing ever since. LOL.

5. THE FIRST BAND I WAS EVER IN WAS … The Rock Alliance! This was a dad-and-son band. I was on guitar, my dad on bass, my best friend and his dad were singers, and we had a really hard-core drummer. Was all cover tunes and bar songs, but I’ll never forget that band.

Tory Hanna joins the other members of the Whiskey Treaty RoadshowGreg Smith, David Tanklefsky, Billy Keane and Chris Merenda – for a concert at The Linda in Albany at 8pm on Saturday (February 25). Tickets are $15.
