ARTIST TALK: Letha Wilson @ UAlbany’s University Art Museum, Albany. Letha Wilson’s artworks are as much sculptures as photographs. Amalgamations of photographic images and spray paint, lumber and concrete, these hybrid objects are derived from Wilson’s own color landscape photos. 4:30pm.

READING: Charles Baxter @ UAlbany Campus Center’s Assembly Hall, Albany. The master of the short story form reads from his newest collection, “There’s Something I Want You to Do,” a finalist for the 2016 Story Prize. With James Lasdun. 8pm. FREE.
