THEATER: “The Bakelite Masterpiece” @ the Unicorn Theatre, Stockbridge. Last chance! The American premiere. It’s the end of World War II, and Holland is in chaos. The artist Van Meegeren is arrested. His crime? Selling a long-lost painting by the Dutch master Johannes Vermeer to the Nazi leader, Hermann Goering. 2pm.

THEATER: Mermaid Theatre of Nova Scotia @ The Egg, Albany. Three of Eric Carle’s most treasured stories – “Brown Bear, Brown Bear What Do You See?,” “The Very Hungry Caterpillar” and “Papa Please Get The Moon For Me” – feature evocative music, stunning visual effects and innovative puppetry. 3pm.
