October 3rd, 2016, 9:30 am by Greg

The tenth annual Chowderfest takes over downtown Troy from 12noon-4pm on Sunday (October 9). The event encourages chowder-lovers to come out, eat, judge and vote for some of the best chowder in Greater Nippertown.

Centered in Monument Square, festival-goers can purchase their tickets, explore the vendors and travel to the participating downtown Troy restaurants distributing chowder from their establishments. Numerous local retailers will also be participating in the festival activities with a citywide sidewalk sale.

Chowder Fest was a complete bust… only sampled four venues because the lines were too long and they ran out of chowder before 4PM. Will not attend again in the future. Good LUCK!!!!!
