MUSIC: Caitlin Canty @ Colegrove Park, North Adams. Her song “Get Up” from Reckless Skyline was nominated for Song of the Year at the International Folk Music Awards earlier this year. Now she’s back with a new EP, Lost in the Valley. 2pm. FREE.

MUSIC: Vidushi Veena Chandra @ Skidmore College’s Zankel Music Center, Saratoga Springs. Weather permitting, the sitar concert will take place at the outdoor amphitheaterat the rear of the Zankel. 4pm.

MUSIC: Music for a Sunday Afternoon @ Otesaga Hotel, Cooperstown. The Cooperstown Summer Music Festival wraps up its 2016 season with violinist Ayano Ninomiya, flutist Linda Chesis, cellist Clancy Newman and pianist Alexandre Moutouzkine performing works by Mendelssohn, Smetana and Dick Kattenburg. 4pm. $25; $15 for students.

THEATER: “The Bakelite Masterpiece” @ the Unicorn Theatre, Stockbridge. The American premiere. It’s the end of World War II, and Holland is in chaos. The artist Van Meegeren is arrested. His crime? Selling a long-lost painting by the Dutch master Johannes Vermeer to the Nazi leader, Hermann Goering. 2pm. Through Sunday, October 23.
