MUSIC: The Frank Jaklitsch Band @ Hibernian Hall, Albany. It was originally booked as a Frank Jaklitsch & Friends show until Frank died in August. Now his “& Friends” will gather to pay him tribute, led by Bobby Long. 8pm.

MUSIC: Moriah Formica @ Rascals, Guilderland. It’s the CD release party for the teen’s debut EP, Bring It On. 9pm.

MUSIC: Amy Ray & Her Band @ Club Helsinki, Hudson. The brunette half of the Indigo Girls brings her band to town showcasing selection from her her half-dozen solo albums. With Chely Wright co-headlining the show. 9pm.

FESTIVAL/MUSIC: Huichica East @ Chaseholm Farm, Pine Plains. FESTIVAL/MUSIC: Adirondack Independence Music Festival @ Wood Park, Lake George. Day Two of the two-day fest features Joe Mansman & the Midnight Revival Band, Funky Dawgz Brass Band, Hayley Jane & the Primates, Rich Ortiz, Formula 5, Sophistafunk and the Spin Doctors. THEATER: “The Bakelite Masterpiece” @ the Unicorn Theatre, Stockbridge. The American premiere. It’s the end of World War II, and Holland is in chaos. The artist Van Meegeren is arrested. His crime? Selling a long-lost painting by the Dutch master Johannes Vermeer to the Nazi leader, Hermann Goering. 7pm. Through Sunday, October 23.
