MUSIC: Ramblin Jug Stompers @ McGeary’s Pub, Albany. Direct from a two-day stand at FreshGrass at MASS MoCA, Cousin Clyde, Bowtie, Mister Eck and Wild Bill return to their home-away-from-home with their unique blend of junk-yard jazz, back-porch blues, rollicking ragtime, boisterous bluegrass and ornery old-timey music. 7pm. FREE.

MUSIC: The Proclaimers @ Pearl Street, Northampton. The Scottish folk-rock duo of Craig & Charlie Reid hit it big with their 1988 song “I’m Gonna Be (500 Miles).” Now they head to Northampton in support of their tenth studio album, Let’s Hear It for the Dogs.
