FreshGrass Festival Announces Schedule of Bands

September 13th, 2016, 12:00 pm by Greg

The FreshGrass festival – three days and nights of bluegrass and Americana music – kicks off on Friday (September 16) at MASS MoCA in North Adams.

There are more than 50 bands – big stars and undiscovered gems – performing throughout the family-friendly fest on four different stages, as well as lots of unannounced “pop-up” concerts in the museum’s galleries and impromptu jams. There are luthier booths, workshops, films accompanied by live music, the FreshGrass Award contests (in band, duo, banjo, and fiddle categories), great food and lots more.
