CABARET: Joe Iconis & Family @ Barrington Stage Company, Pittsfield. He composed the music for “Broadway Bounty Hunter,” currently having its world premiere at BSC, and The New York Times has called him “the future of musical theater. 10pm. $30.

MUSIC/FUNDRAISER: The Berkshire Ramblers @ the Guthrie Center, Great Barrington. Alan Chartock leads his crew in the summer season-closing concert as a benefit for the center. 8pm. $25.

MUSIC: Jon Cleary & the Absolute Monster Gentlemen @ Belleayre Music Festival, Highmount. The new Orleans piano man and his band head up a season-closing triple bill that also features Sleepy Man (a trio of teenage brothers playing their unique brand of bluegrass) and Simi Stone (singer and multi-instrumentalist Woodstocker). 7pm. $33, $43 & $53.

THEATER: “Broadway Bounty Hunter” @ Barrington Stage Company, Pittsfield. Inspired by the exploitation movies of the ’70s, Joe Iconis’ new musical follows a 60-ish-year-old, down-on-her-luck actor (played by Annie Golden of the Shirts and “Orange Is the New Black”) as she’s asked to become a bounty hunter and capture a South American drug lord. 3 & 7:30pm. $52. MUSIC: Joseph Keckler @ Ancram Opera House, Ancram. The New York Times hails him as “one of the brightest lights of what is called, for lack of a better term, alt-cabaret.” Infused with humor and longing, his material includes operatic renderings of contemporary life and haunted torch songs. He will be joined by collaborator Dan Bartfield on violin and pianist Mathew Marsh. 8:30om. $25.
