Comedian, writer and actor Hannibal Buress is slated to step into the spotlight at Proctors in Schenectady at 8pm on Friday, July 29. With his first national theater stand-up comedy tour sold out and The New York Times lauding him as one of the most “supremely gifted and respected” comics around, Buress is emerging as a comedy superstar. His third hour-long stand-up special, “Comedy Camisado,” is currently streaming on Netflix.

Buress is a favorite of fans on big and small screens alike. He’s a cast member on Comedy Central’s hit series “Broad City” and co-host of Adult Swim’s “The Eric Andre Show.” He’s also a regular on the late night circuit and has written for NBC’s “Saturday Night Live” as well as “30 Rock.” He recently appeared in the movie “Daddy’s Home” alongside Will Ferrell and Mark Wahlberg, and he’s lent his vocal talents to the animated films “The Secret Life of Pets” and “Angry Birds.”
