MUSIC: The Lonely Heartstring Band @ Cock ‘n Bull, Galway. Cock ‘n Bull is celebrating its 40th anniversary, and you’re invited to the birthday bash. Barbecue starts at 3pm (sliders, Dino ribs, clams casino, salads, etc.), and the fave bluegrass band plays at 7pm. $25 includes the music and all the food.

MUSIC/FUNDRAISER: Bob Dylan Birthday Concert @ the Bearsville Theater, Woodstock. The eighth annual Bob’s Birthday Bash features Happy Traum, Marc Black, Larry Campbell, Jay Collins, Mikaela Davis, Kate Pierson, Arlen Roth, Eric Redd, John Sebastian, Kenny Siegal & Blueberry, Jules Shear, Robert Burke Warren, Doug Yoel & Carmen Ann, Connor Kennedy & Mistrel and lots more. The new musical by Eric Price and Joel Waggoner tells the story of three generations of magicians who find themselves under one roof for the first time in years.
