Troy Savings Bank Music Hall Announces Three New Concerts

The Troy Savings Bank Music Hall has announced three more new concerts for its upcoming fall season. Tickets to the newly announced shows are currently available exclusively to members of the Music Hall, and will go on sale to the general public at 10am on Monday (May 23).

Friday, September 23, 8pm
The exuberant Los Angeles-based ensemble conjures up a blend of vintage New Orleans jazz, rollicking rhythm & blues and glorious gospel music all mashed together into one funky spectacle – part church, part circus.

Thursday, October 6, 7:30pm
$20, $29, $34 & $39
Black Violin is the blend of classical, hip-hop, rock, R&B and bluegrass music. Live, violinists Wil Baptiste and Kevin “Kev Marcus” Sylvester are accompanied by their incredible band, featuring ace turntable whiz DJ SPS and a drummer. They’ve wowed crowds everywhere from SXSW to Bonnaroo.

Eric and Leigh Gibson grew up with on the family dairy farm in Ellenburg Depot, a tiny town in upstate New York that was closer to the Canadian border than it was to a record store. Their tight sibling harmonies resonate with echoes of such bluegrass greats as the Stanley Brothers, the Monroes and the Louvins. They were named the International Bluegrass Music Association’s Entertainers of the Year in 2012 & 2013.
