MUSIC: Mark Tolstrup’s Brass & Blues @ Caffe Lena, Saratoga Springs. Dixieland jazz meets Delta blues in this trio featuring Saratoga’s own Mark Tolstrup on vocals, slide guitar and tenor banjo; Ernie Belanger on tuba; and Woody Strobeck on trombone. 7pm. $20.

MUSIC: John Pizzarelli Quartet @ The Egg’s Swyer Theatre, Albany. The world-class jazz guitarist and singer of standards also puts his unique stamp on rock and pop classics as heard on both of his new recordings – John Pizzarelli Salutes Johnny Mercer and Midnight McCartney. 7:30pm. $39.50.

THEATER: “Freckleface Strawberry: The Musical” @ the Palace Theatre, Albany. The Park Playhouse production based on the beloved New York Times best selling book by celebrated actress Julianne Moore is a fun and touching family musical where Freckleface must learn to love her freckles and herself. 2pm. $20; FREE children 12 & under.

THEATER: “The Producers” @ Schenectady Light Opera Company, Schenectady. Last chance! Directed by Suzanne Rayome, this Mel Brooks stage adaptation of his classic 1968 comedy film stars Eric Shovah as Max Bialystock and Brendan Brierley as Leo Bloom. 2pm. $18-$28.
