FILM: “Roxy: The Movie” @ Proctors’ GE Theatre, Schenectady. Over 40 years in the making, and never before screened theatrically, this legendary 1973 concert tour captured Frank Zappa’s Mothers at the height of their creative powers. Presented as a fundraiser to help preserve Zappa’s private performance archive, and also to assist with the creation of a definitive Zappa documentary, the evening will also include sneak peeks into the Zappa vault, and a Skype Q&A with the critically acclaimed and popular filmmaker behind these project, Alex Winter (aka Bill from “Bill & Ted’s Excellent Adventure”). 7pm. $12.
