They’ve played at the Upstate Concert Hall. And they’ve played the Troy Savings Bank Music Hall. Now Scott Bradlee’s Postmodern Jukebox is climbing up the ladder to a bigger venue – Albany’s Palace Theatre.

With a rotating cast of vocalists, keyboardist-arranger-mastermind Bradlee has concocted a smash hit band via YouTube by taking current contemporary pop hits and re-casting them in a variety of radically different musical styles – Miley Cyrus’ “We Can’t Stop” as an old-school doo-wop ditty or Radiohead’s alt-rock hit “Creep” as a vintage torch ballad.

The band is slated to take the stage at the Palace Theatre at 8pm on Friday, September 30. But you’re going to have to drop more than a quarter into this Postmodern Jukebox: tickets are priced at $39.50, $52.50, $75 & $105 and will go on sale to the general public at 10am on Friday, April 22.
