The Hollow Bar + Kitchen has added a batch of new shows, including the Sheepdogs at 9pm on Thursday, May 5 ($15 in advance; $18 at the door); Holy White Hounds with Run River North and the Greeting Committee at 7pm on Saturday, May 7 for your post-Tulip Fest pleasure ($10.27); Normal Instruments at 9pm on Thursday, May 19 ($12 in advance; $15 at the door); Jimkata at 9pm on Friday, May 20 ($12 in advance; $15 at the door); Hippo Campus at 9pm on Sunday, June 12 ($10.27 in advance; $12 at the door); Paul Green’s Rock Academy with Mothers’ alum Ed Mann playing the music of Frank Zappa at 9pm on Saturday, June 18 ($12 in advance; $15 at the door); and White Denim at 9pm on Saturday, July 23 ($18 in advance; $20 at the door).

IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: Celebrating the 50th anniversary of Sunshine Superman, ’60s Scottish folk-rocker Donovan is headed into the Troy Savings Bank Music Hall. Tickets go on sale on Friday, April 15.

Club Helsinki in Hudson has added another diverse batch of upcoming concerts to its schedule, including Carrie Rodriguez & the Sacred Hearts at 9pm on Saturday, April 30 ($18 in advance; $22 at the door); from Mali, Songhoy Blues at 9pm on Friday, July 22 ($TBA); the San Francisco-based squeezebox rockers Those Darn Accordions at 8pm on Thursday, July 28 ($TBA); and Dub Is a Weapon at 9pm on Friday, July 29 ($TBA).

IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: The Albany Tulip Festival announced the schedule of bands for next month’s free two-day festival in Washington Park, and the performers include Langhorne Slim & the Law, Jonathan Edwards, Tokyo Police Club, McKinley James, The Parlor, Jim Gaudet & the Railroad Boys, Olivia Quillio, Carl Daniels & the Black Box, Victory Soul Orchestra, Stockade Kids, Red Haired Strangers, Bear Grass, Of the Atlas, the Last Conspirators, Ruth Pelham, the Zucchini Brothers and more…

IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: Smoke ’em if ya got ’em… Hip-hop pioneer (and the newest member of the WWE Hall of Fame) Snoop Dogg re-teams with Wiz Khalifa for the High Road Summer Tour, which is slated to make a stop at the Saratoga Performing Arts Center. Joining them on the tour will be Kevin Gates, Jhene Aiko, Casey Veggies and DJ Drama. Tickets go on sale to the general public at 12noon on Friday (April 8).

The Fuze Box in Albany is crushin’ it with the new announcements of such upcoming shows as MDC with Deathwish, Neutron Rats and Chloroform Party at 7pm on Monday, April 11 ($10 in advance; $12 at the door); Michale Graves with Capitle, One Day Waiting and Mordwolf at 7pm on Thursday, April 28 ($10 in advance; $13 at the door); T.S.O.L. with the Scandals, Eternal Crimes and Lone Ranger at 7:30pm on Tuesday, May 24 ($10 in advance; $15 at the door); and Agnostic Front at 7pm on Saturday, June 25 ($12 inadvance; $15 at the door).

IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: The Lumineers are headed to Brewery Ommegang in Cooperstown this summer in support of their new album, Cleopatra, which is scheduled for release on Friday (April 8). Rayland Baxter and Langhorne Slim & the Law are also on the bill for the show.

Bearsville Theater in Woodstock hosts a dance party on Saturday, April 23 with DJ Lady Miss Keir (formerly of Deee-Lite) and Lady Verse. The show starts at 9pm, and tickets are $10 in advance; $13 at the door.

IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: Country music superstar Carrie Underwood returns to Albany’s Times Union Center in support of her new album, The Storyteller, and she’s bringing along Easton Corbin and the Swon Brothers. Tickets go on sale to the general public at 10am on Friday (April 8).
