FILM: “Drawing on Life” @ the Opalka Gallery, Albany. Following a series of Irish architects in their studios, this 2014 documentary film explores the importance of hand drawing and its almost primeval power to capture ideas and communicate imagination amidst our frenetic digital world. 6:30pm.

FILM: “The Messenger” @ The Linda, Albany. The Messenger explores our deep-seated connection to birds and warns that the uncertain fate of songbirds might mirror our own. 7pm. $8.
