MUSIC: The Strumbellas @ NaNola, Malta. The Juno Award-winning, six-piece Canadian folk-popgrass band roll into town in support of their upcoming new album, Hope. 9pm. FREE.

MUSIC: Cian Nugent @ the Half Moon, Hudson. Following a pair of stellar instrumental CDs, the guitar master returns with his first vocal album, Night Fiction. With Nap Eyes (in support of their new album, Thought Rock Fish Scale) and hometown guitar explorer Alexander Turnquist. 8pm.

READING/MUSIC: “Everything Dies! A Coloring Book About Life!” @ 51 3rd Street, Troy. Bri Barton reads from her new coloring book, “Everything Dies! A Coloring Book About Life!,” which explores funeral rites from around the world, soil biology, decomposition, the mourning of loved ones and the legacies of human rights leaders. With poet D.
