Greater Nippertown music fans just can’t get enough of guitarslinger Warren Haynes… no matter what band he’s playing with. Now it’s been announced that Haynes will also be teaming up with the Boston Pops with conductor Keith Lockhart at the helm. The occasion is a special Jerry Garcia Symphonic Celebration, which will take place at Tanglewood’s Koussevitzky Music Shed in Lenox at 8pm on Friday, July 1.

The former guitarist for the Dead will pay tribute to the music of the Grateful Dead’s late bandleader with an adventurous orchestral concert.

Ticktes are on sale now, priced at $49, $69 & $89 for reserved amphitheater seats; $25 for lawn general admission.
