MUSIC: Darlingside @ Club Helsinki, Hudson. Having garnered praise Rolling Stone, NPR and The New Yorker, Don Mitchell, Auyon Mukharji, Harris Paseltiner and David Senft bring their soaring vocal harmonies and rootsy chamber-folk sound to town. Vermont-based guitar-and-vocals duo the DuPont Brothers open. 8pm. $18 & $25.

MUSIC: Guster @ Upstate Concert Hall, Clifton Park. The Boston-based indie rockers land in town in support of their latest album, Evermotion, full of of raw, acid-soaked chamber pop produced by Shins keyboardist/Black Keys bassist Richard Swift. With David Wax Museum. 8pm. $28.

MUSIC: the subdudes @ the Iron Horse Music Hall, Northampton. Led by singer-guitarist Tommy Malone and accordionist John Magnie, the band draws its inspiration from their native New Orleans, blending blues, gospel, funk and R&B with their own soulful vocal harmonies. 7pm. $40.
