Correction: First Concert—The Johnny Winter show was 1970. My introduction to rock and roll has yet to be topped! I’ll never forget it. I usually took my girlfriend to basketball and football games. But sitting with her in the bleachers at SUNY Gym was a very different experience altogether, when the lanky albino came trucking on to the stage in his crushed velvet maxi-coat. Edgar nearly stole the show.

First instrument: I always gave my parents a lot of credit for giving me a snare drum since my room was right over their bedroom, found out recently, much to their chagrin, it was a gift from my Godmother.
