Tanglewood Adds Two New Concerts

Brian Wilson brings Pet Sounds to Tanglewood – in its entirety.

Acclaimed as one of the best albums of the rock era, Brian Wilson’s Pet Sounds revolutionized pop music. At 2:30pm on Sunday, June 19 in the Koussevitzky Music Shed, Wilson and his band (featuring Al Jardine and Blondie Chaplin) will be performing the album as part of its 50th anniversary celebration, along with rare cuts and greatest hits with the Boston Pops. Ticket prices range from $25-$109.

And Grammy-Award-winning trumpeter Chris Botti returns to Tanglewood at 8pm on Friday, June 24 for a performance in Ozawa Hall. A gifted instrumentalist, talented composer and charismatic performer, Botti has earned both critical acclaim and mainstream appreciation in the worlds of jazz and instrumental pop. Ticket prices range from $20-$99.

Tickets for both shows go on sale to the general public at 10am on Sunday, January 24.
