MEMORIAL/CONCERT: Remembering Lee Shaw @ Unitarian Universalist Society of Schenectady, Schenectady. Greater Nippertown’s Queen of Piano Jazz passed away at age 89 in October. Tonight is a celebration of her life and music with keynote speakers and a who’s-who of Jazz musicians from all throughout the Local 518 and beyond, including Joe Barna, Bill Delaney, Peg Delaney, Mike Demicco, John Esposito, Matt Finck, Otto Gardner, Gene Garone, Nick Hetko, Pete Levin, John Medeski, Rob Lindquist, Patti Melita, Lou Pappas, Chris Pasin, Brian Patneaude, Sarah Pedinotti, Jason Rogers, Adam Siegel, Jeff “Siege” Siegel and Rich Syracuse. 7pm. MUSIC: Holidelic @ Club Helsinki, Hudson. The holiday funktacular is the brainchild of Grammy-nominated singer-songwriter, producer, actor and dancer Everett Bradley. 9pm. Also at 9pm on Saturday.
