You probably drive-by it all the time without even ever really noticing it, except maybe for that big rock. Dana Park is that tiny, little pocket park in the heart of Albany at the intersection of Lark Street and Madison Avenue. And for the past seven years, it’s been home to the annual Dana Park Concert Series on Monday evenings all summer long.

It ain’t no big woo-hah like Alive at Five or Rockin’ On the River, but rather an intimate gathering of folks under the streetlights and an up-close chance to listen to some of the Local 518’s primo homegrown musical talent – from jazz (the Dylan Perrillo Orchestra, the New York Jazz Duo) to Americana (the Nellies, Ramblin Jug Stompers) and beyond.
