FESTIVAL/MUSIC: American Music Festival for the Lake @ Wood Park, Lake George. The fest wraps up with Country Music Day featuring the North & South Dakotas, Driftwood, Donna the Buffalo, Sundy Best and Austin Webb. 12noon. $40 & $50.

MUSIC: The Bellfuries @ the Ale House, Troy. Vocalist and chief songwriter Joey Simeone leads the Austin-based rockabilly band in support of their new album, Workingman’s Bellfuries. 8pm. $10.

MUSIC: Skerik’s Bandelabra @ the Parish Public House, Albany. The maverick Seattle saxman is joined by drummer Dvonne Lewis, bassist Evan Flory-Barnes and guitarist Andy Coe. 9pm. $15.

THEATER: “Mr. Akita” @ Skidmore College’s Tang Museum, Saratoga Springs. Starring artist-comedian-performer Cliff Hengst and written and directed by Asher Hartman, “Mr. Akita” is a one-man play in which a Borscht Belt comedian and an op-art painting go “head to façade” in a reminiscence of love, sex, art, failure and the sublime. 1:30pm. MUSIC: The Mike & Ruthy Band @ Caffe Lena, Saratoga Springs. The Americana band heads to the Spa City in support of their new album, Bright as You Can. 7pm. $20.
