There will be dancin’ in the streets in Saratoga Springs on Saturday (September 26).

The Phila Street Block Party takes over Saratoga’s Phila Street between Putnam and Henry streets on Saturday afternoon from 12noon-5pm with plenty of free family-friendly fun and entertainment.

Enjoy performances spanning 100 years of popular music in celebration of Saratoga Springs’ Centennial, featuring Mark Tolstrup’s Brass & Blues, the Flipsydz, Lost Radio Rounders, Johnny & the Triumphs and the Rich Clements Band.

Throughout the afternoon, you can also purchase food and drinks samples from Hattie’s Restaurant, Peabody’s Sports Bar & Grill, Ben & Jerry’s, Falafael Den, Ravenous, Sweet Mimi’s, Sushi Thai Garden, Park Side Eatery, Bailey’s Cafe and Four Seasons Natural Food Store. Bring the kids for Cole’s Woodwind Shop’s instrument petting zoo and check out the painting possibilities at Creative Sparks. The afternoon will also feature demonstrations by the Tai Chi Center and Namaste Yoga.

Stop by for a little while or stay all afternoon. The event is FREE to attend, no tickets necessary, and participating businesses are donating a portion of their proceeds to Caffè Lena.
