The Egg in Albany has announced four more new concerts for the 2016 spring season, as well as two additional shows in its Family Wonders Performance series.

Tickets to all six new shows are currently available exclusively to members of The Egg. Tickets are scheduled to go on sale to the general public at 11am on Tuesday, September 29.

Here are the details for all of The Egg’s new shows:

THE DAVID BROMBERG BIG BAND
Sunday, April 3, 7:30pm

The Bromberg Big Band is back for a joy ride through blues, bluegrass and rock n’ roll all peppered with instrumental virtuosity and Bromberg’s singular sense of humor.

GREG BROWN
Friday, April 15, 8pm

A laid back, but always insightful evening of Greg Brown’s songs about Iowa farmers, Midwest highways, raising children, dogs, love and loss in everyday life.

JUDY COLLINS
Saturday, May 14, 8pm

Modern day Renaissance woman Judy Collins performs her unique blend of interpretive folk songs and contemporary themes to create music of hope and healing that lights up the world.

ROGER McGUINN
Thursday, May 19, 7:30pm

The legendary voice of The Byrds returns with his solo show – a guided tour of his role as a preserver of music traditions and innovations in the development of folk-rock and country-rock in the ’60s.

COMEDY PET THEATER
Saturday, March 26, 3pm
Children $18; adult in free when accompanied by a child
Comedy Pet Theatre is a blend of the unique comedy and juggling skills of Gregory Popovich, and the extraordinary talents of his pets performing a variety of stunts and skits – an extravaganza of European-style clowning, amazing juggling, balancing acts and very talented dogs, cats, mice and more.

MERMAID THEATRE OF NOVA SCOTIA
Sunday, April 24, 3pm
Children $18; adult in free when accompanied by a child
Mermaid Theatre of Nova Scotia combines puppetry, black light, original music and captivating storytelling to bring three beloved Eric Carle classics to the stage: “The Very Hungry Caterpillar,” “Little Cloud” and “The Mixed-Up Chameleon.”
