Palace Theatre Announces New Concert

Maynard James Keenan of Tool and A Perfect Circle will be leading his pseudonymous side project band Puscifer into Albany’s Palace Theatre at 8pm on Wednesday, November 18. The concert is part of the band’s six-week fall tour in support of their upcoming album, Money Shot, slated for release on October 30.

“As is the modus operandi of Puscifer, there will be a whole new show to accompany the Money Shot release. We’ve been leaving a few clues here and there as to what it may entail,” said Keenan. “As usual, we prefer to show rather than tell. Odds are if you’ve been a fan of the diverse nature of our performances in the past, you’ll want to go ahead and place those bets.”

In addition to Keenan, the touring band – which Keenan has variously described as “a playground for the various voices in my head,” “where my Id, Ego, and Anima all come together to exchange cookie recipes” and “as much a clothing line as it is a band” – will also feature Mat Mitchell, Carina Round, Jeff Friedl, Mahsa Zargaran and the newest addition, Paul Barker (of Ministry, Lead Into Gold).

Priced at $29.50, $39.50, $44.50, $54.50 & $59.50, tickets will be available to Palace members on Tuesday (August 18) and will go on sale to the general public at 10am on Friday (August 21).
