FESTIVAL/MUSIC/MORE: Solid Sound @ MASS MoCA, North Adams. Wilco headlines today’s festivities with their first-ever acoustic show. With Real Estate, Speedy Ortiz, Expandable Brass Band, Story Pirates, “The Great Flood” a film by Bill Morrison with music by Bill Frisell with Ron Miles, Tony Scherr and Kenny Wollesen. Music kicks off at 5:30pm. $65.

MUSIC: Voodoo Orchestra North @ Club Helsinki, Hudson. Led by legendary jazz drummer-composer Bobby Previte, VON features many great upstate New York musicians, playing a regular series of performances devoted to exploring the music of Miles Davis’ electric jazz-funk masterpiece, Bitches Brew. 9pm. $12.
