FILM/MUSIC: “House (Hausu)” @ the Madison Theater, Albany. The 1977 surreal Japanese cult horror movie accompanied by a new original score performed live by the Andrew Alden Ensemble, featuring violinist Ben Kronk, cellists Nathaniel Ortega and Philip Lee in addition to drummer-keyboardist Andrew Alden. 8pm. $10.

MUSIC: 3rio @ Quinn’s Restaurant, Beacon. Monday, The new trio of bassist John Menegon, Panamanian trumpeter Aquiles Navarro and drummer Tcheser Holmes play original music inspired by Menegon’s 10 years playing with saxman Dewey Redman and David “Fathead” Newman. 8pm.

THEATER ON FILM: “Antony and Cleopatra” @ Spectrum 8, Albany. Gary Griffin directs the steamy story of a midlife affair that shook the foundations of the ancient world. The Stratford Festival production of the Shakespeare play Cleopatra stars Geraint Wyn Davies and Yanna McIntosh as the powerful rulers whose insatiable love leads to the greatest of tragedies. 7pm. $15; $12 age 12 & under.
