“The Voice”: Sawyer Fredericks Sails into the Top 6

On last night’s (Tuesday, April 28) results episode of NBC-TV’s hit singing competition, “The Voice,” it was all smooth sailing for teenage Fultonville farmboy Sawyer Fredericks, as he advanced into the Top 6 via fan voting after his performance of Lynyrd Skynyrd’s “Simple Man” on the Monday.

Fredericks will take “The Voice” stage again on Monday (May 4) in a bid to advance to the Final Four in the competition.
