YES @ The Egg’s Hart Theatre (July 6): Great instrumentation and a winner show. Switching songs worked in first album, too.

STELLAR YOUNG @ the Washington Avenue Armory (June 7): During P.A.N.D.A. Take Back Tour. Short set was very sweet.

RUBBLEBUCKET @ the Hollow Bar + Kitchen (September 14): This had fun all over.

KING CRIMSON @ The Egg’s Hart Theatre (September 9): Well put together set. Lots of great sounds.

BOOTSY COLLINS @ the Empire State Plaza (June 18): At the End, I realized I was having a great time.

Bootsy Collins

LUCKY JUKEBOX BRIGADE / BLACK MOUNTAIN SYMPHONY @ the Hollow Bar + Kitchen (July 18): Great opener and LJB was special that night.

JON ANDERSON @ The Egg (April 12): Jon had it that night, and the audience did, too.

THE PARLOR / RIVAL GALAXIES / BEAR GRASS @ the Low Beat/Pauly’s Hotel (November 21): Loved three sets at Funsgiving. The Parlor and Rival Galaxies were the best sets of the year, and they went back to back.

MIRK @ Red Square (April 26): The pressure was on at the MOVE Music Festival, and Mirk delivered. Shinobi Ninja was something else before them.

THE PARLOR / SGT. DUNBAR & THE HOBO BANNED @ Valentine’s Music Hall (February 8): I am the Past.

Loved Bootsy Collins but loved Fitz and The Tantrums also. Wonderful summer of music.
