COMEDY: Jim Breuer @ Troy Savings Bank Music Hall, Troy. Actor, author, “Saturday Night Live” alum and stand-up comedian Jim Breuer returns to the Hall with an all-new show, showcasing his unconventional brand of humor. 8pm $27; $24 students.

MUSIC: Gobhi @ the Low Beat, Albany. Celebrating the release of their new album, Twenty Turns, mixed by the Figgs’ Pete Donnelly. With Great Mutations and Hammer Hawk. 8pm. $5.

DANCE: Noche Flamenca’s “Antigona” @ the Mahaiwe Performing Arts Center, Great Barrington. A flamenco interpretation of the text and themes in Sophocles’ classic play. The themes in the work include catharsis, issues of dictatorship, repression, loss, the strength of family and female empowerment; strong themes not only in Sophocles, but also in flamenco. THEATER: “Tigers Be Still” @ Curtain Call Theatre, Latham. Carol Max directs the regional premiere of Kim Rosenstock’s quirky, endearing dark comedy that follows the misadventures of Sherry Wickman, an unemployed, overwhelmed art therapist hiding out in her childhood bed. 8pm. $24.

THEATER: “Sylvia” @ the Sand Lake Center for the Arts, Averill Park. The Circle Theatre Players present A.R.
