Who’s Headlining CountryFest 2015?

There have been quite a handful of contemporary country music concert announcements in the past week, including Lady Antebellum at the Saratoga Performing Arts Center, as well as Eric Church and Kenny Chesney at the Times Union Center. And A Taste of Country has already announced Tim McGraw, Keith Urban and Toby Keith as headliners for the June festival in Hunter.

Which leaves us with one big question… Who will be headlining this summer’s CountryFest celebration?

Well, there’s been no official word yet from sponsoring radio station WGNA-FM just yet, but…

It’s certainly lookin’ like Dierks Bentley will be in the headline slot for the 2015 edition of CountryFest in July.

While Bentley’s website doesn’t list any specific dates for a northeast tourstop, it does list a number of cities that are scheduled to play host to Bentley’s upcoming Sounds of Summer Tour – including Schaghticoke, NY.

And let’s face it, the Schaghticoke Fairgrounds – which, as it happens, has hosted WGNA’s annual CountryFest for the past two years – would be the only possible venue for a Bentley concert.
