Cale – the senior member of the Nippertown Advisory Board and co-star of’s weekly Friday afternoon “It’s the Weekend” postings – departed this mortal coil at his Nippertown home on Tuesday following an afternoon of sleeping in the sun and snacking on chicken, peanuts and pepperoni. He was 16 years old.

He is survived by his faithful canine companion Shelby and feline friend Lola, as well as his humans, Sara and Greg.

He will be greatly missed…

So sorry to hear of Cale’s passing. Knowing it was coming makes it no less hard to bear. We loved Cale and his furry sisters. Certainly Shelby and Lola will miss him as much as you both. And I know he had a good life – taking walks (or rather giving walks), playing in the stream and barking after mailmen. A more loyal dog there never was. RIP, Cale. Love to all.
