Caught up in back-to-school fever? Well, you know it’s never too late to go back to school, so we thought we’d remind you about a few continuing education resources around Nippertown. Here are a few suggestions for you, if you’re looking to learn something new and creative:

“The Basics of Screenwriting I” at Hudson Valley Community College, Troy. Taught by Barbara Guyette. Six two-hour classes at 6:30pm Wednesdays beginning October 1.

“Beginning Ukulele” at Old Songs, Voorheesville. Taught by Ron Gordon. Six 75 minute classes at 6pm Thursdays beginning October 16.

“Radical Portraits 
in Any Medium!” at Saratoga Arts, Saratoga Springs. Taught by Tom O’Brien. Five three-hour classes at 9am Fridays beginning October 17.

“The Art of the Interview” at the Arts Center of the Capital Region, Troy. Taught by Michael Eck. Six two-hour classes at 6:30pm Thursdays beginning November 6.

Beginner Blacksmithing @ Mabee Farm Historic Site, Rotterdam Junction. Taught by John Ackner. One eight-hour class. 9am-5pm on Saturday, October 11.
