Festival Fever: Beat*Shot Music Festival @ the Hollow Bar + Kitchen

The Beat*Shot Music Festival returns to downtown Albany this weekend. The sixth annual fest is slated to run from 6pm-2am Friday and 12noon-2am on Saturday (July 11 & 12) at the Hollow Bar + Kitchen.

Equally influenced by both old-school and contemporary aspects of hip-hop culture, the fest features performances by emcees, DJs, beat boxers and vocalists from around the country.

Rap veteran and national recording artist Pharoahe Monch is slated to headline this year’s festivities on Saturday, on the heels of his new, critically acclaimed album, PTSD.
