The Egg Adds Three New Concerts

Three new shows have been announced for The Egg’s upcoming fall concert season. Tickets are currently available to members of The Egg and will go on sale to the general public on Friday, July 11.

Sunday, October 19, 7:30pm
Hart Theatre; $29.50
Boasting a mix of Southern pride, history, folklore, politics and character studies, Drive-By Truckers are one of the day’s foremost alternative country-rock bands. They make their debut at The Egg in support of their new, critically acclaimed recording English Oceans.

Sunday, November 23, 7:30pm
Hart Theatre; $38, $48 & $58
Steve Hackett revisits the ground-breaking prog-rock classics from his years as guitarist for the legendary band Genesis, such as The Musical Box, Dancing with the Moonlit Knight and Supper’s Ready.

Sunday, December 14, 7:30pm
Swyer Theatre; $29.50
Over the past two decades, no artist has done more to extend and refine the piano trio’s possibilities than Brad Mehldau. Along with bassist Larry Grenadier and drummer Jeff Ballard, the trio is at home performing Thelonious Monk classics, American Songbook standards, as well as contemporary tunes and originals.
